In order to help myself return to the workplace, I applied for a voluntary job with Marie Curie. I was feeling very anxious in the days leading up to the interview. My therapist has hammered in the message to be curious about things and so I decided to try focusing on being curious about the interview instead of letting my anxiety run wild. On the left we see my therapist, plus a friend saying it was a great idea for me to go for the voluntary job.

At the top I’ve worked out where it is and am wondering how long it will take me to walk there. Inside the building I am wondering, who will greet me, who will I meet, what will the decor be like and what would the job entail.

Later the same day I created this zentangle curiosity image to distract myself from my anxiety and to reinforce the focus on being curious.
