An Excursion Into Watercolours

I recently treated myself to a beginners watercolour set having never used watercolours before, and had fun creating my first three pictures. I liked using watercolours because they were much quicker to use compared to acrylics, however I think acrylics better suit my style of bright colours.

Pictured above is the third image I created. I actually drew the cat myself following a guide which showed how to draw cats using simple shapes. Prior to adding the whiskers it could have been mistaken for a piglet. After adding the whiskers, it was clear the work was by an amateur 🙂

The other images were just for fun whilst I experimented a bit with the paint.
